Ultra-Kelp TM a
product of nature, is a rich, balanced bioavailable
source of essential macro and micro nutrients - which
include all natural selenium, Iodine and a whole
alphabet of other minerals (60). It also includes
12 vitamins and 21 amino acids. The minerals
within the marine plant are almost entirely chelated or
attached to the carbohydrate fraction, making them
highly bioavailable and useable by the animal.
Ultra-Kelp TM
- Safe and easy to use, just follow
the label. Best results can be achieved by feeding
once daily, winter and summer. Especially good for
pregnant mares, and all horses, young or old, idle or
hard working.
It should be noted that much has been said about the
myth of iodine toxicity when feeding seaweed to horses.
It is of importance to all horse owners that they should
use registered, regulated feed supplements to prevent
overdosing on any supplement. (Please note our
registration Feeds Act numbers which are renewed at
regular intervals.) In 25 years of marketing Ultra-Kelp TM
there has not been one case of anyone overdosing on this
product that we are aware of.
It should also be noted that we ourselves have never had
any reason to doubt the validity in following labels.
To the `uninitiated` horse owner, they should realize
that any mineral fed in excess could be dangerous.
Care should be taken when feeding any supplement.
It should also be noted that minerals should be fed in
very small dosages. Many man-made supplements
require larger dosages, as many contain fillers and
additives - often of little value to your animals. Ultra-Kelp TM
is made only of seaweed, no cheap fillers or other
substances.
Seaweed has stood the test of countless centuries.
If horses are near the ocean they have been known to
wade in to reach seaweed for the many benefits.
The world`s greatest Herbalist, Author & Veterinarian
Juliette de Bairacli Levy introduced seaweed in the
1930`s. She has written books on the subject of
herbs, in which she gives special mention to seaweed and
the value of natural iodine and its use especially for
pregnancy and strength of bones etc. We have put
these benefits into practice in our breeding of animals
for 25 years since the inception of Ultra-Kelp TM.
(It has been the only mineral
supplement used in those many years.)

animal and plant applications. We also take kelp
pills daily for our own health.
